Dow launched two innovative film resins in the Asia Pacific region. Dow Chemical Company (hereinafter referred to as "Dow") today launched a series of innovative film resins for food and special packaging, industrial and consumer goods packaging, and health and hygiene applications, in response to the needs of film processing enterprises for new materials with better optical properties, stronger toughness, and faster processing speed. Dow's global technical expertise and leading position in the global octenyl polyethylene market have laid a solid foundation for the development of these new film resins
new products include the developed Dow film tensile testing machine with better performance, which simply modifies (new generation) linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) resin on traditional alloys through controller lextm ng, and the new attanetm ng (new generation) ultra low density polyethylene (ULDPE) resin that can meet higher application requirements
Lin Ruisheng, marketing manager of basic plastics business in Asia Pacific region, said: "For Dow, the Asia Pacific region is a very important long-term strategic growth market. The launch of our new film resin products here reflects our commitment to our customers, that is, to constantly promote innovation, provide unique services, and meet the needs of customers in the Asia Pacific region for new generation polyethylene solutions. With our global technical strength, Dow is committed to continuously improving its products And service quality, creating value for customers' development today and even in the future. "
in the first half of next year, the second solution linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) plant will be put into operation in Thailand. Dow is actively working with the Siam Cement Group in Thailand to build a new plant. With the opening of the new factory, it will further improve the product portfolio that Dow has launched for customers in the Asia Pacific region
dowlex ng linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) resin
dowlex ng LLDPE resin is based on the superior performance of dowlex resin. By providing good processing performance, more outstanding optical properties and thinning ability, it can better help film processing enterprises stand out from the competition. These major breakthroughs benefit from Ziegler Natta (Z-N) catalyst technology and Dow's proprietary solution process, which together create "super octene" LLDPE products. At present, two development resins based on this technology have been introduced: Xus 61530.02 LLDPE (1) (2) and Xus 61530.04 LLDPE (1) (2)
xus 61530.02 LLDPE integrates superior dart impact strength, tear strength and puncture resistance, and has excellent transparency and gloss, with a melt index of 0.8. Xus 61530.02 LLDPE's outstanding melt strength, bubble stability and physical properties make it an ideal choice for heavy-duty container bags and thin composite films. Xus 61530.04 LLDPE has excellent optical and processing properties without sacrificing its physical properties. The product is specially optimized to show good transparency in single component systems or when blending with LDPE. It is suitable for high-quality blown film applications that require not only good optical properties, but also excellent tear strength and heat sealing properties, such as high transparency composite film, tensile casing film that requires good tensile strength and optical properties, agricultural film, medium performance heat sealing layer and special packaging. These two development resins have excellent thinning ability, which provides strong support for the development of more sustainable packaging products with less material consumption. By providing more comprehensive protection for end products, they can also reduce the probability of end product damage and reduce waste
attane ng ultra low density polyethylene will not pay much attention to (ULDPE) resin
the molecular structure of attane ng ULDPE resin has been further optimized, which has the advantages of higher toughness (especially suitable for low-temperature film applications), better optical properties, excellent flexural cracking resistance, low initial temperature of heat sealing and better processing performance. These performance characteristics make attane ng ULDPE resin an ideal choice for high demand film applications in harsh environments
the first batch of resins to be launched in this series of new products include attane ng 4701g ULDPE and attane ng 4703g ULDPE. With Dow's proprietary solution process, these two products achieve an excellent balance between modulus, tear strength, puncture resistance and bubble stability. More importantly, attane ng 4701g products with a melt index of 0.8 and a density of 0.912 have excellent ULDPE toughness. Attane ng 4703g ULDPE is a super tough product with a density of 0.905 and a melt index of 0.5. In addition, it also has the advantages of more superior optical properties. At the same time, because of its low initial temperature of heat sealing, it is also an ideal heat sealing resin. This resin has excellent impact modification ability, which is very suitable for 3. The selection index of electronic tensile testing machine is used for heavy-duty container bags, general low-temperature films, modified atmosphere packaging and individual quick-frozen films
